  14. FLYING MONKEY SOFTWARE ANNOUNCES COLOR INTERPOLATING APPLICATIONS FOR
  15. NEXTSTEP.

  18. WEST CHESTER, Ohio, May 19, 1994 -- Flying Monkey Software announced
  19. the availability of ColorInterpolator and Color4Interpolator for the
  20. NEXTSTEP community. The clean interface to color on NEXTSTEP based
  21. systems is significantly enhanced with the introduction of these
  22. products, by allowing the user to create a smooth chromatic transition
  23. from one color to another. They're great for drawing, icon
  24. development, text and image coloring - wherever you would drop in a
  25. color.

  28.   ColorInterpolator

  30.   With the ColorInterpolator, you may select any two colors and find
  31.   the colors between them on a line in fixed (user-specified)
  32.   increments. These incremental colors may be dragged directly into
  33.   other applications or saved to a color list accessible through the
  34.   color panel. Both orthogonal (RGB) and cylindrical (HSB)
  35.   transitioning are supported. Alpha levels are supported.

  39.   All the features of Flying Monkey's ColorInterpolator, but with four
  40.   colors and the interpolated colors in a square, instead of two and a
  41.   line. Sets of rows and columns may be saved as color lists in
  42.   addition to the entire interpolated color set.
